More Ice

Ice was everywhere!! Starting around 11pm on Thursday night we heard the sounds of trees cracking under the pressure of the ice. When the sun rose we watched our neighbors tree tops fall to the ground.

The amount of ice was amazing. Every leaf was covered in at least 1 inch of ice.

This tree usually stands as tall as our roof - 2 stories. About 1 story has recovered.

Now those are some cool pictures - my favorite is the grass. Too bad you don't have any snow to make it fun...

That is seriously amazing. Good thing your boys have a good sense of adventure. I love the pictures of the leaves and grass covered in grass. So was it raining, then freezing, or just coming down as ice?

I'm glad you have power back. Despite all the troubles at least you got some really cool pictures.

I absolutely enjoy looking at the pictures!! They are great. There is no way I could live in a place like that. I would be freezing to death!!! I am sure you were barely cool. Hahaha
