This was the Great Ice Storm of 08. We lost power for 5 days. These pictures were taken 2 days after the storm ended.
There was so much ice, every blade of grass was covered.
Almost all of the trees in our neighborhood were downed or bent.

Ice storms are horrible! We used to get them all the time growing up in MD...but 5 days! Are you kidding me? No way would I last...even having lived in Bulgaria.
