Washington D.C. - February 2009
Many of you know that Adam has spent the last few weeks in D.C. attending a pathology class at Walter Reid Hospital. Because our school district doesn't feel that actually attending school is necessary, we still had February Break - don't worry, they've added a week to the end of school and we are currently scheduled to attend school on 3 different Saturdays. Anyway, for February break we decided to join Adam. Alexia convinced me that I could do mass transit by myself and that it was really not an opportunity we could pass up. We were fortunate to find housing close to the metro and one of the highlights of every day was the train ride in. We saw all kinds of stuff, not anywhere close to all of it, but we had a great time. Here are some of the pictures, we don't have all of them uploaded, hopefully next weekend.

Joshua and Jacob loved taking pictures. I believe Jacob is the artist behind this one.

A nice lady helped us get our only family picture. This is in front of the Lincoln Memorial looking at the Washington Monument.

Oh my gosh, how fun! Hey, is Adam still out there? If so, will you let him know that Marchant from Bulgaria is living out there in case he wants to get together with him? Thanks!

Yay! I am so glad you decided to go to D.C. I don't get your school district. Who has February break and what is Saturday school...is that legal?

Looks like loads of fun. We went last spring break, and I believe Abe Lincoln probably smiled as Spencer through a fit on his steps. Our boys really enjoyed public transit as well. Away rotations stink, but how cool is it to be able to do this trip with the boys. Keep the post coming!

Love, Teressa
