Baby Eliza is here!!!

Baby Eliza came March 3, 8 lbs 11 oz and 21" long. All the boys were excited when she came home and had to take turns holding her.

So far she has been an ideal baby. She sleeps a lot, eats when she is supposed to and fills her diaper on schedule. The last two nights she has also allowed us to sleep from 11 pm to 7 am. I guess that won't happen much now that she is home from the hospital and the nursery won't take her back. For Jennie's sanity we have decided to bottle feed. I do have to say that although the benefits of breastfeeding were always explained very well to us, no one told us about the benefits of bottle feeding! Eat once every 4 hours, sleep longer because tummy is full, lowers the risk of jaundice, Daddy can also do it so mommy isn't always on call. This may work out better than expected.

She is so cute! I just love her. Do you guys have enough baby girl clothes? I have held onto almost everything of Lucy's and realize, after having Alice, that we just have too many girl clothes. I'll have to send some your way if you want.

She is so cute and I love the hair. It so fun to see a girl mixed in with all the big brothers.

So fun! I'm so glad your boys have a little sister--it'll be good for them, and I'm pretty sure they'll be good to her.
Good luck over these next few months! Baby...moving...big stuff!

Congrats! She's adorable!!! My kids have all been on bottles too; we're actually just getting the boys off bottles & onto sippy cups. It is definitely nice for others to be able to help with the feeding.
