Remember to take time to smell the flowers (or eat them).
We have beautiful lilac bushes in our yard that smell fantastic! I called Samuel over to smell them and after smelling he decided to eat. I hope they aren't poison.
Tell Samuel it is hereditary. In Moses Lake, his ggma planted a whole side of the yard in lilacs in the middle of nowwhere. And all of us loved the smell and loved when Mom cut and put the flowers in bouquets around the house or sent them to other families. (I only learned as a mother that a little bit of lilac in the bathwater helped kiddos go to sleep.)

They certainly smell good enough to eat.
