Ice Cream Truck!!!

Every afternoon our neighborhood is visited by the ice cream truck. Andrew has a built in radar that can hear the music from miles away. As soon as he hears it stops whatever he's doing, puts his hand to his ear and says, "What's that? ICE CREAM TRUCK!!" He runs to the front window and watches it go down the street and come back. He then bolts to the back window because he knows the truck will circle the house. When the ice cream truck isn't around he will frequently asked, "Where the ice cream truck go?" The only answer that satisfies is that the truck has gone to bed.

Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to all you fathers out there. This video is evidence of how important naps are in our house.

Literacy parade

At school today they had a literacy parade. Each child chose a book and did some sort of project that described the characters or a scene from that book. The whole school marched around the building while the 6th grade band from the middle school played. It lasted about 15 minutes and it was a perfect event.

Jacob chose the book Jack Plank Tells Tales by Natalie Babbitt. He drew some pretty great pictures.











Joshua chose the classic tale The Authori- tative Calvin and Hobbes.

Exhibition Day at Trampoline Class

Today was the last day of trampoline class. Instead of doing a formal recital, they did what they called Exhibition Day. The gym was open to everyone and we got to spend about 40 minutes watching all of the best tricks. There is a video of Jacob flipping into the foam pit and then Joshua is at the bottom. Andrew and Samuel even got to participate and they thought it was FABULOUS!! Andrew has literally been waiting all winter for this day. The event was capped off by a fantastic ice cream bar.

Trampoline class

Joshua and Jacob have been working hard in trampoline class all winter. It's basically a gymnastic class on a trampoline. One of the hardest parts for them was climbing the rope. In the beginning they couldn't even pull themselves up. Now both of them can do one pull up and hang for a good 30 seconds or so.



Another favorite is jumping off of this 3 ft foam block onto the tramp below it and then do a flip.

Smoothie face!

Joshua and Jacob loved their mustaches, almost as much as their smoothies. Andrew had to get in on the action.
